General conditions of sale

CANCELLATION POLICY

A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay will be required for all online bookings through our website.

The balance of your stay will be debited 1 month before your stay.

Cancellation Policy:

- Cancellation is possible (5% of the total cost paid) if it occurs more than 60 days before the scheduled check-in date; the 50% deposit paid at the time of booking will be refunded.

- Cancellation with a 50% fee if it occurs more than 30 days before the scheduled check-in date; The 50% deposit paid at the time of booking is retained.

Access to the pool and swimming are your sole responsibility.

Do not play with, touch, or remove the robot from the pool.

Children may only access the pool if accompanied by adults.

Never leave children unattended, even around the pool.

Children who cannot swim must wear appropriate armbands or life jackets.

Do not run around the pool. Do not play games around the pool (ball, badminton, etc.).

Do not leave objects or toys in the pool that could attract children.

It is forbidden to eat or drink around the pool. near the pool,

· Tie back long hair, Swimsuits are mandatory,

· Be careful to avoid deodorants, sunscreens, and perspiration, which produce "organic combined chlorine," which can cause inflammation of the mucous membranes, conjunctivitis, and irritation,

· Pets are not allowed around or near the pool,

· Cover sun loungers (deckchairs) with a towel before lying down,

· Do not move parasols. Please always close parasols when leaving the pool area,

· Do not climb over the barrier but use the gates provided,

· The gates are opened by lifting the upper part with one hand and lowering the handle with your other hand at the same time,

When leaving the pool, please ensure that the various gates are properly locked,

The pool shared by Domaine des Machottes tenants is accessible to guests of the guest house 24/7.

FOR THE GITES:

Arrival: between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., late arrival possible upon request to the owner,

Departure: before 10 a.m.,

Deposit: €300 for the gîtes Le relais du coche, Le refuge de la mascotte, and Au calme champêtre,

Deposit for the Mas: €800.

NOTE for the GITES: for all stays beginning during the period of From July 20th to August 20th of each year, the balance and deposit must be paid no later than one month before the stay.

Cancellation conditions for the gîtes: no cancellations possible after reservation.

Any reservation of the gîtes implies full acceptance of the Domaine des Machottes internal regulations, which are found below:

Article 1: This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the rental of the gîtes at the Domaine du Mas des Machottes. The cottage and access to the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the tenants.

Article 2 – Length of Stay: The tenant signing this contract, entered into for a fixed period, may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain on the premises at the end of the stay.

Article 3 – Conclusion of the Contract: The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has paid at least 30% of their stay.

The rental agreement between the parties to this agreement may not under any circumstances benefit, even partially, third parties, whether natural or legal persons, without the written consent of the owner.

Any information in this last paragraph may result in the immediate termination of the rental at the tenant's expense, with the rental income remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the Tenant: None Cancellation of a stay in a gîte is possible after reservation.

Article 5 – Cancellation by the Owner: The owner reserves the full amount paid for the tenant.

Article 6 – Arrival: The tenant must arrive on the day and time specified in the reservation. In the event of a late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 7 – Payment of the Balance: Refer to the booking website or this contract.

Article 8 – Cleaning: Cleaning of the premises is the tenant's responsibility during the rental period and before departure. The cleaning fee is indicated on the website. This fee includes basic cleaning; it does not include routine maintenance, which remains the tenant's responsibility (dishes must be clean and put away, and daily cleaning must have been completed). If the cleaning service is not included, the accommodation must be returned at least in the condition in which the tenants found it; if the cleanliness required requires cleaning hours after the tenants' departure, these hours will be deducted from the security deposit.

Article 9 – Security Deposit or Damage Deposit: Upon the tenant's arrival, the owner requests a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the website. This deposit will be returned, less the cost of restoring the premises, if damage is noted no later than two weeks after departure.

Article 10 – Use of the Premises: The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the intended purpose.

Article 11 – Septic Tank: As the accommodation is located in the countryside, wastewater is treated by a septic tank. Therefore, nothing other than toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet (no tampons, wipes, sanitary napkins, etc.) and no products containing bleach should be used.

Article 12 – Capacity: This contract is established for a maximum capacity of 10 people. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner may refuse the additional guests. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the client's initiative.

Article 13 – Pets: This contract specifies whether or not the tenant may stay with a pet. If the tenant fails to comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be issued.

Article 14 – Insurance: The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by their actions. He is required to be insured by his insurance contract covering various risks.

Article 15 – Payment of charges: Water, electricity, and gas charges are included in the rental rate. Only linen (sheet and/or towel rental) and/or cleaning costs are payable to the owner if contracted.

Article 16 – Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the gîte. Smokers are asked to smoke outside, sheltered from the wind, and to be sure to extinguish their cigarettes and throw cold cigarette butts in the trash to avoid any risk of starting a fire.

Article 17 – Swimming Pool
