Terms of Sales

CANCELLATION CONDITIONS

A deposit of 50% of the amount of your stay will be required for any online booking from our website.

A check-out of the balance of the stay will be made 1 month before the stay.

Cancellation condition:

- Cancellation feasible (5% of fees on the amount payed) if more than 60 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises; the deposit of 50% at the time of booking is refunded,

- Cancellation with a 50% fee if it is more than 30 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises; the 50% deposit at the time of booking is kept.

FOR GUEST ROOMS:

Arrival: between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., late arrival possible on request to the owner,

Departure: before 11 a.m.

Cancellation condition for guest rooms: Cancellation possible free of charge if it occurs more than 60 days before the scheduled date of entry into the premises.

Any reservation of a guest room implies full acceptance of the rules of procedure of the Domaine des Machottes guest house which can be found below:

Article 1 – arrival: The tenant must arrive on the day specified and at the time mentioned when booking. In case of late or deferred arrival, the tenant must notify the owner. 

Article 2 – room: It is not allowed to eat or drink in the rooms.

Article 3 – use of the premises: the tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the destination of the premises.

Article 4 – septic tank: as the accommodation is located in the countryside, waste water is treated by a septic tank. Do not throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet (no tampons, wipes, sanitary napkins, etc.) and do not use products containing bleach.

Article 7 – Swimming pool

ACCESS TO THE POOL AND SWIMMING ARE UNDER YOUR ENTIRE RESPONSIBILITY

· DO NOT PLAY, TOUCH OR LEAVE THE ROBOT out of the pool,

Children can only access the swimming pool if accompanied by adults,

 · Never leave children unattended, even around the pool,

· Bathing children who cannot swim is done with: armbands or suitable vests,

 · Do not run around the pool, Do not play games around the pool (ball, badminton, etc)

 · Do not leave objects or toys in the pool that may attract children,

 It is forbidden to eat and drink around and near the swimming pool,

· Tie back long hair, Compulsory bathing suits,

· Be careful to avoid deodorants, sunscreens, perspiration which generate "organic combined chlorine", which causes inflammation of the mucous membranes, conjunctivitis, irritation,

· Watch out for skin lesions that may be contagious,

 Animals are not allowed around and near the swimming pool,

· Cover sunbeds (deckchairs) with a bath towel before lying down,

 · Do not move the parasols, Please always close the parasols when you leave the pool area,

 · Do not go over the barrier but use the gates provided,

· The gates are opened by lifting the upper part with one hand and lowering the handle at the same time with the other hand,

 · When you leave the pool, please ensure that the various gates are correctly locked,

· The swimming pool shared with tenants of the Domaine des Machottes is accessible to tenants of the guest house 24 hours a day.

FOR THE COTTAGES:

Arrival: between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., late arrival possible on request to the owner,

Departure: before 10am,

Deposit: €300 for the gîtes Le relais du coche, Le refuge de la mascotte, Quiet countryside,

Deposit for the Mas: 800€.

ATTENTION for GITES: for all stays starting in the period from July 20 to August 20 of the year, the balance and the deposit must be paid 1 month at the latest before the stay.

Cancellation condition for gîtes: no cancellation possible after reservation.

Any reservation of the lodgings implies the complete acceptance of the rules of procedure of the Domaine des Machottes which can be found below:

Article 1: This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the use of the rental of the gîtes of the Mas des Machottes estate. The gîte and access to the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the tenants.

Article 2 – Duration of stay: The tenant signing this contract concluded for a fixed period may not under any circumstances claim any right to remain in places at the end of the stay.

Article 3 – conclusion of the contract: the reservation becomes effective when the tenant has paid at least 30% of his stay.

The rental concluded between the parties to this deed cannot in any case benefit even partially to third parties, natural or legal persons, except with the written agreement of the owner.

Any information in this last paragraph would be likely to result in the immediate termination of the rental at the fault of the tenant, the product of the rental remaining definitively acquired by the owner.

Article 4 – cancellation by the tenant: no cancellation possible of a stay in a gîte after reservation.

Article 5 – cancellation by the owner: The owner reserves the full amount paid for the tenant.

Article 6 – arrival: The tenant must arrive on the day specified and at the time mentioned when booking. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 7 – payment of the balance: confers the booking site or this contract. 

Article 8 – cleaning: The cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before his departure. The amount of the cleaning fee is indicated on the site. This package includes basic cleaning; it does not include routine maintenance which remains the responsibility of the tenants (the dishes must be clean and tidy and the daily cleanliness must have been done). If the cleaning fee is not contracted, the accommodation must be returned at least in the state in which the tenants found it; if the state of cleanliness left requires hours of cleaning after the departure of the tenants, these hours will be deducted from the deposit.

Article 9 – security deposit or bond: Upon arrival of the tenant, a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the site, is requested by the owner . This deposit is returned, less the cost of repairing the premises if damage is observed no later than two weeks after departure. 

Article 10 – use of the premises: the tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and use it in accordance with the destination of the premises.

Article 11 – septic tank: as the accommodation is located in the countryside, waste water is treated by a septic tank. Do not throw anything other than toilet paper in the toilet (no tampons, wipes, sanitary napkins, etc.) and do not use products containing bleach.

Article 12 – capacity: This contract is established for a maximum capacity of people. If the number of tenants exceeds the capacity, the owner can refuse the additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered at the initiative of the customer.

Article 13 – animals: This contract specifies whether or not the tenant can stay with a pet. In the event of non-compliance with this clause by the tenant, the owner may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be made.

Article 14 – insurance: The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by him. He is required to be insured by his insurance contract covering him for his various risks.

Article 15 – payment of charges: Water, electricity and gas charges are included in the rental price. Only the costs of linen (rental of sheets and/or towels) and/or cleaning are to be paid to the owner if contracted.

It is private from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. the next day for bed and breakfast tenants or Mas tenants.
