General terms and conditions of sale

CANCELLATION POLICY

A deposit of 50% of the total cost of your stay will be required for all online bookings made through our website.

The remaining balance will be charged 2 months prior to your arrival.

Cancellation Policy:

- Cancellation is possible if it occurs more than 60 days before your scheduled arrival date; The 50% deposit paid at the time of booking is refundable.

ACCESS TO THE POOL AND SWIMMING ARE YOUR ENTIRE RESPONSIBILITY

• DO NOT PLAY WITH, TOUCH, OR REMOVE THE ROBOT FROM THE POOL.

• Children may only access the pool if accompanied by adults.

• Never leave children unattended, even around the pool.

• Children who cannot swim must wear appropriate armbands or life jackets.

• Do not run around the pool. Do not play games around the pool (ball, badminton, etc.).

• Do not leave any objects or toys in the pool that could attract children.

• Eating and drinking are prohibited around and near the pool.

Swimming pool,

• Tie back long hair. Swimsuits are mandatory.

• Avoid deodorants, sunscreens, and perspiration, as these generate "organic chlorine," which can cause inflammation of the mucous membranes, conjunctivitis, and irritation.

• Be aware of skin lesions that may be contagious.

• Animals are not allowed around or near the pool.

• Cover sun loungers (deck chairs) with a towel before lying down.

• Do not move the parasols. Please close the parasols when you leave the pool area.

• Do not climb over the barrier; use the gates provided.

• The gates open by lifting the top with one hand and lowering with with the other hand on the handle at the same time,

• When leaving the pool, please ensure that the various gates are properly locked,

• The pool shared by guests of Domaine des Machottes is accessible to guests of the guest house 24/7.

FOR THE COTTAGES:

Arrival: between 5 pm and 8 pm, late arrival possible upon request to the owner,

Departure: before 10 am,

Security deposit: €300 for the cottages Le Relais du Coche, Le Refuge de la Mascotte, Au Calme Champêtre,

Security deposit for the Mas: €800.

All cottage reservations imply full acceptance of the Domaine des Machottes internal regulations which found below:

Article 1: This seasonal rental contract is reserved for the rental of the cottages on the Mas des Machottes estate. The cottage and access to the swimming pool are for the exclusive use of the tenants.

Article 2 – Length of Stay: The tenant signing this fixed-term contract may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises after the end of the stay.

Article 3 – Conclusion of Contract: The reservation becomes effective once the tenant has paid at least 50% of the cost of their stay.

The rental agreement concluded between the parties to this document may not, under any circumstances, benefit any third party, whether a natural or legal person, even partially, without the owner's written consent.

Any breach of this last paragraph may result in the immediate termination of the rental agreement at the tenant's expense, with the rental payment remaining the property of the owner.

Article 4 – Cancellation by the Tenant: No cancellation is possible. for a stay in a gîte if the stay is in less than 60 days,

Article 5 – Cancellation by the owner: The owner reserves the right to retain all sums paid by the tenant.

Article 6 – Arrival: The tenant must arrive on the date and at the time specified in the booking. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the owner.

Article 7 – Payment of the balance: Refer to the booking website or this contract.

Article 8 – Cleaning: Cleaning of the premises is the responsibility of the tenant during the rental period and before departure. The cleaning fee is indicated on the website. This fee includes a thorough cleaning; It does not include routine maintenance, which remains the responsibility of the tenants (dishes must be clean and put away, and daily cleaning must have been carried out). If the cleaning package is not purchased, the accommodation must be returned in at least the same condition in which the tenants found it; if the cleanliness required after the tenants' departure will necessitate additional cleaning hours, these hours will be deducted from the security deposit.

Article 9 – Security Deposit: Upon the tenant's arrival, the owner will require a security deposit, the amount of which is indicated on the website. This deposit will be returned, less the cost of any necessary repairs if damage is found no later than two weeks after departure.

Article 10 – Use of the Premises: The tenant must ensure the peaceful enjoyment of the rental and use the premises in accordance with their intended purpose.

Article 11 – Septic Tank: As the accommodation is located in the countryside, wastewater is treated by a septic tank. Therefore, only toilet paper should be flushed down the toilet (no tampons, wipes, sanitary napkins, etc.), and no products containing bleach should be used.

Article 12 – Occupancy: This contract is established for a maximum occupancy of [number] people. If the number of tenants exceeds the maximum occupancy, the owner may refuse entry to the additional people. Any modification or termination of the contract will be considered to be at the client's initiative.

Article 13 – Pets: This contract specifies whether or not the tenant may stay with a pet. If the tenant does not comply with this clause, the owner may refuse the stay. In this case, no refund will be issued.

Article 14 – Insurance: The tenant is responsible for all damages caused by them. They are required to have insurance coverage for their various risks.

Article 15 – Payment of Utilities: Water, electricity, and gas utilities are included in the rental price. Only the cost of linen (sheet and/or towel rental) and/or cleaning is payable to the owner if contracted.

Article 16 – Smoking: Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage. Smokers are asked to smoke outside, out of the wind, and to ensure they extinguish their cigarettes and dispose of their cold butts in the bin to prevent any risk of fire.

Article 17 – Swimming Pool
